Athanasios holds a Ph.D. degree from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2005), with specialization in wireless communications.
Athanasios previously worked as Network Design Engineer for Cyta Hellas, which launched the first full MVNO network in Greece. He was also responsible for the coordination of the company’s research projects, related to 5G networks and the internet of things. Later, he worked for Nokia Networks as a Verification Engineer for cloud-based 4G/IMS e2e solutions. Currently, he is with Forthnet, as a Senior Telecom Engineer, mainly involved in the implementation of the MVNO network.
