Recoing studied at the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique (CNSAD).
Career
Recoing began his acting career in 1982 and went on to appear in more than eighty films, establishing a long-standing presence in French cinema, particularly in auteur and independent productions. Recoing gained wider recognition for the leading role in Time Out (2001), directed by Laurent Cantet, which brought international attention.
In addition to film, Recoing has worked in television productions, maintaining continuous activity across screen acting while building a reputation for roles in dramatic and character-driven works.
