Career
Entered Jiji Shimpo newspaper in 1925 and as comic artist for that newspaper drew also caricatures. Some of his works were marked with rather bitter sarcasm, this being partly attributable to the fact that he has been a pupil of Rakuten Kitamura. Currently figures in a wide variety of activities in fields of essay writing and radio appearances including those as director of “Yumoa (Humor) Club” and regular panel member.
