  • Achievements include patents pending for Method for the removal of trace contaminants using molecular imprinted polymers. Research in Photobioreactors, biological degradation of toxic and recalcitrant organic contaminants (i.e. PAHs, pharmaceuticals, nonylphenol, pesticides, endocrine disrupters etc), biofilm reactors.

    Research in biomonitoring microbial communities, two-liquid phase partitioning bioreactors, hybrid physical-biological processes, fungal treatment, air biofiltration. Research in biological remediaton process combined with solar irradiation for cost-efficient removal of persistent organic pollutants. Research in facillitated biological methods for removal of persistent organic pollutants.

    Development of water quality test kit based on substrate utilization and toxicity resistance by river microbial communities. Research in algal-bacterial reactors for remediation of toxic and recalcitrant contaminants.
