Engaged in propagation rare native wildflowers donating same to public arboretums, preserves and sanctuaries. Volunteer teacher, cons, on conservation and nature study, 1948.
Active many local, state, national conservation issues. Responsible for sav. wilderness areas threatened with destruction and now preserved as part of State Park Lands.
