Bo Peter Lehnert, Swedish physicist, researcher. Recipient Celsius gold medal Royal Science Society, 1974, medal of His Majesty the King of Sweden, 1996; fellow Alpha Foundation Institute for Advanced Study.


Lehnert, Bo Peter was born on March 30, 1926 in Stockholm. Son of Edwin Berthold and Greta Maria Elisabet (Dorch) Lehnert.

Assistant professor Royal Institute of Technology, 1955-1963. From associate professor to professor Swedish Atomic Research Council, Stockholm, 1963-1990. Professor Royal Institute of Technology, since 1990.
