Corresponding member, USSR Academy of Science, since 1958; associate, All-Union Research Institute of Synthetic Rubber, since 1946; associate, Institute of High-Molecular Compounds, USSR Academy of Science, since 1948. two Stalin Prizes, 1941, 1949. Member, Communist Party, since 1945.
Education
1931 graduated Moscow University.
Career
1932-1946 at synthetic rubber plants. 1944-1945 instructor, 1945-1946 Professor, Yaroslavl Technology Institute. Works on chemistry and practical uses of polymerization processes.
Research on connection between the structure and properties of rubber. Worked on carboxylate rubber synthesis and extraction from it of rubber with properties closely resembling that of natural rubber.
Religion
Religion is always aggressive against any new scientific ideas.

Member, Communist Party, since 1945.
