Career
Boris Vasilievich Genba worked as a turner at the plant named after M.I. Kalinin in Voronezh (1953-1955). Teacher of a special vocational school (Michurinsk, 1964-1968), a medical school, the City Vocational School No. 18 (Rossosh, 1969-1989). Head of amateur art in educational institutions. Organizer of various festivals, competitions, creative meetings.

He is the author of many songs on poems of Voronezh poets. Genbe's works are heard in Voronezh and Central Radio, television are included in the repertoire of many singing groups. The song "Childhood of my flag" was the callsign of the Rossoshansky radio (1975-1990). Genboy wrote music for the performances of the Rossoshansky People's Theater "The Drummer", "The Robbery at Midnight". In the regional newspaper For an Abundance, Genba led the rubric "The Birth of a Song," and published many materials about the work of Voronezh poets and composers.
