Board directors Fredericksburg Center for Creative Arts, since 1998, Global Commitment Foundation, Washington, since 1997, Art Barn Association (poetry coordinator since 1980-2000), Also taught poetry at Georgetown Univ. from 1991-2011, and at Univ. of Texas (Austin) 2007-11 He was Fulbright Professor of Poetry & American Culture in the Balkans for 2 years.
