Views
His views on modern Russia is reflected in his words: "I don't get annoyed, I just get extremely upset by two things. This is an unprecedented scale of theft and corruption, as well as insane monopolism. And I would add to this a staff deficit. Often I do not understand why a person completely unaware of what and how to do, absolutely not able to think on a state scale occupies a responsible position. And it is very difficult to fight this. Because there are objective factors inside all of this. On the one hand, Russia is a country of tremendous wealth and territories. On the other hand, these vast spaces and the harsh climate make us look for a way out between the Western model of state development and some other one."
