Career
He toured and recorded with Unwed Sailor from 2003-2008. He appeared as keyboardist on their 2009 release Little Wars. He joined the American rock band Colour Revolt in early 2010.
Brooks performed with the Epitaph band Thursday on their final tours in the United States, Canada, and Australia in 2011/2012.
Brooks is the touring piano/keyboard player for the Universal Republic group Secret Sisters. Brooks joined songwriter Vincent Griffin of Little Rock to form the band Bear Colony in 2006.
Brooks is the owner/operator of Electric Ghost Screen Printing Limited Liability Company. He lives in Little Rock, Arkansas.
