Bruce Wynne, American tribal administrator, artist.


Wynne, Bruce was born on June 14, 1944 in Wellpinit, Washington, District of Columbia, United States. Son of William and Gertrude (Flett) Wynne.


Graduate, Institute America Indian Arts, Santa Fe, 1964. Bachelor of Fine Arts, University Colorado, 1975.


Exhibits designer, Heard Museum, Phoenix, 1968-1970;assistant director Indian Ednl. Opportunity Program, U. Colorado, Boulder, 1970-1973;professor artist, primarily in sculpture, 1975-1984;member, Spokane Indian Tribal Council, since 1984;vice chairman, Spokane Indian Tribal Council, 1985-1987;tribal chairman, Spokane Indian Tribal Council, since 1989.
