Researcher Japan Automobile Research Institute, Tsukuba, Japan, 1990—1993. Principal researcher Institute Advanced Engineering, Seoul, Republic of Korea, 1994—1995. Professor Chonnam National University, Gwangju, Republic of Korea, since 1996, director Center Intelligent Mechanical Systems, since 2005.

Coordinator Korea Institutional Complex Corporation, Gwangju, 2006—2008.
