Allen was a semi-finalist, placing in the competition"s Top Ten. Allen graduated from Cheltenham High School in Wyncote, Pennsylvania in 2001 and completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Communications at Howard University in 2006. She aspires to be an attorney with the Federal Communications Commission (Federal Communication Commission).
Allen won the Mission District of Columbia United States of America 2006 title in a state pageant held in late 2005. On April 21, 2006 she competed for the title of Mission United States of America 2006 in Baltimore, Maryland. Furthermore, Allen was also one of twenty six Mission United States of America Delegates who appeared on Deal or Number Deal in April 2006.
