Eighteen years later, founding partner Owen J. Roberts was appointed to the Supreme Court of the United States. Although the firm's offices practice now ranges far beyond Philadelphia, Montgomery McCracken, Walker & Rhoads, LLP has aspired from the first to the tradition of the Philadelphia Lawyer.
