Formerly in partnership with his brother, Leo J. (died in 1933) with offices in the Pacific Building. One of the Devlin Brothers noted works was an addition to St. Ignatius Church at Fulton Street and Potter Avenue, at the time of its dedication in 1914 said to be the largest steel frame structure west of Chicago. In addition they designed St. Patrick’s Seminary in San Mateo county, several parochial schools and other institutions in the Bay area.
