Career

Became editor public Saint Joseph (Missouri) News, 1894. Acquired control of Saint Joseph Daily Gazette-Herald, 1900, which he published 2 years in connection with the News. Sold the News, 1906; half owner public Lincoln (Nebraska) Star, 1906-1910.

Became sole owner Oklahoma City Times, May 1911, and later bought and consolidated with the Times the Daily Pointer and the Free Press.

Disposed of the Times, 1914, and returned to Saint Joseph, Missouri, where established The Weekly Review, 1917. Retired 1918. Home: Saint Joseph, Missouri
