Moore, Charles Cadwell was born on July 12, 1868 in Alpine, New York, United States. Son of Lewis William and Mary Beaks (Harding) Moore.


Graduated from St. Augustine College (now defunct), Benicia, California, 1884.


In employ San Francisco Tool Company, 1885-1895. Succeeded to the business as Charles C. Moore & Company, engineers, which was incorporated 1902 as Charles C. Moore & Company, Engineers, Inc., specializing in motive power and hydraulic work, of which president. Chairman board Creative Commons Moore & Company, Engineers, Inc.
