Writing poetry started out as a form of journaling I took on to let out my feelings. My beginnings came with my first poem developing in my mind in the middle of the night. I get a definite feeling within my soul or being that I have something to share or write down so I find paper and a writing tool and the poem seems to just flow from within me. This type of poetry is inspirational poetry, the type I write. There are many types and styles out there in the public’s stream for viewing and appreciating. I am very happy and feel very fortunate to have an audience of the public that is interested enough to give mine a chance. The fact that I said ‘different types and styles’ is because I choose freestyle poetry the most. Freestyle gives me the total room to be whomever I am now, while I am writing.
