Mr. Wolcott graduated at Princeton University in 1903 with a B. S. degree in Architecture, and during the following three years continued his studies in Italy, and in Atliers of the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris.
Returning to his native city in 1910, he entered into partnership with Arthur Brown (Brown & Wolcott) and after a later period (1919-24) in association with Edward Clark, carried on work under his own name through the rest of his life. Noted examples of buildings designed by Mr. Wolcott include St. Chrysostom's Church and Parish House in Chicago, Aquarium in Lincoln Park (in collaboration with Mr. Clark), Y.M.C.A. Building in Evanston, Ill., and the Lake Forest Academy.
