Chi-Kyung Kim, Korean microbiologist, educator. Achievements include developing method for detection of bacteria for dechlorination of chloroaromatic pollutants (Korean patent northern 98-139466); construction of recombinant degrading 4-chlordbiphenyl from pseudomenas (Korean patent northern 99-196536), recominant vector of genes encoding degradations of 4-chlordobenzoate from pseudomenas (Korean patent northern 01-316975).
