In 1912 Chikara Kurata graduated from the Sendai Higher Engineering School.
Career
After his graduation, Chikara Kurata entered the Kuhara Mining Company. Then, he moved to the Hitachi Manufacturing Company. In 1941 Chikara Kurata was appointed its director, in 1947 managing director and later in the same year president.
