Chloe is a graduate of the Natural Gourmet Institute of Health and Culinary Arts NYC, the University of California, Berkeley, as well as Cornell University's Plant-Based Nutrition Program.
Chloe Coscarelli attracted a wide audience, when her vegan cupcakes brought her the first prize in Cupcake Wars, an American reality competition series.
Coscarelli has appeared in the Cooking Channel television documentary "The Veg Edge" and on NBC's The Today Show, CBS's The Doctors, VH1, CNN, HLN's Jane Velez-Mitchell Show, and the Fran Drescher Show.
Coscarelli first cookbook, Chloe's Kitchen, appeared in 2012. Chloe's Vegan Desserts (2013) and Chloe's Vegan Italian Kitchen (2014) followed.
In July 2015, Coscarelli partnered with ESquared Hospitality to launch By Chloe, a vegan chain restaurant that currently has 15 locations in the U.S. and London. She parted ways with the business in 2017, and ever since, Coscarelli has been embroiled in lawsuit after lawsuit with By Chloe’s parent company.
First breaking onto the culinary scene as the only vegan chef to capture the top prize on Food Network’s Cupcake Wars, Chef Chloe Coscarelli has since been recognized for bringing vegan cuisine to the mainstream as an award-winning chef, successful entrepreneur, and bestselling cookbook author. Chloe was named to the 2017 Class of 30 Under 30 by Forbes.

2012Chloe Coscarelli has been vegan since 2004–a time when veggie burgers were still feared by the general public. Since then, she has been at the forefront of the vegan revolution. Chloe believes the most delicious dishes come from plant-based ingredients, and has debunked the myth that vegan cooking is bland and visually unenticing. Chloe says that vegan can still mean mouthwatering foods, and she practices what she preaches.
Don Coscarelli is an American film director, award-winning film writer, producer, editor, screenwriter. He is best known for his Phantasm series, as well as The Beastmaster.
