Sinicki, Christine was born on March 28, 1960 in Milwaukee.
Born in Milwaukee, Sinicki was raised in the Bay View neighborhood and is a graduate of Bay View High School. After graduation, Sinicki worked as a waitress until becoming manager of a small business in Bay View. She has two children.
Rep. She is a former PTA member and President. After learning first-hand the issues facing public education, she ran successfully for Milwaukee Public School Board in 1991. Sinicki served on the School board until 1998, when she was elected to the State Assembly.
In 2008, Rep. Sinicki was re-elected to the State Assembly for a 5th term. Shortly after inauguration, she was appointed Chair of the Assembly Labor Committee. She also serves on the Education Committee, the Education Reform Committee, the Transportation Committee, the Children & Families Committee, and the Veterans & Military Affairs Committee.
