Education
In 1922 Yamamoto Chuichi graduated from the Higher Commercial School Department of the University of Commerce in Kyoto.
Career
After graduating, Yamamoto Chuichi worked for Karafuto (Sakhalin) Industrial Company, Paper Manufacturing Company and Hokusen (North Korea), Paper Manufacturing & Chemical Industry Company. Later he entered Nihon Pulp Industry Company and became superintendent of Obi Plant (1945),then managing director (1947) and senior managing director (1953). He also served as superintendent of Tomakomai Plant of Paper Manufacturing Company.
