Chuta Ito graduated with a degree in architecture from Tokyo University.
Career
Chuta Ito was a professor and also associated with Waseda University. A top-flight architect, he was the builder of such important buildings as the Memorial to the 1923 Great Earthquake and the Tsukiji Honganji Temple.
