Claire Steinberg was a curator for the Craft and Folk Art Museum in Los Angeles in 1976 and picture editor for Popular Photography magazine and its annuals in 1969-1971.
Claire's photographs are in major museum collections in the United States and abroad, as well as in private collections. She continues to exhibit limited edition photographic portfolios. The photographer works in photojournalism, portraiture, and sequential images.
Claire Steinberg has been vice-president of the West Coast chapter of the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP) since 1978.
