After being educated privately, he was graduated at the Central Manual Training School.
In 1905 he began work as draftsman for Kurt W Penckert, architect and engineer, and five years later was taken into partnership. With a desire to set up practice for himself, the young man withdrew from the firm in 1914, and through the following years maintained own office in PhiHdelphia. Mr. Wunder's best known works include the Temple University Stadium; Pennsylvania Hotel, later renamed the Philadelphia; a building for the Cuneo Press, Inc., several stores, including that of the Bonwer Tewer Company. He also designed the Pine Street and the Kenney Apartments in Haddonfield, N. J., and the Elizabeth Manor, Upper Darby, Pennsylvania.
