He completed an early education at the Beloit (Wis.) College, later was trained in architecture and engineering at the Art Institute and Armour's Institute of Technology in Chicago.
In 1915 Mr. Clark began work as draftsman in the office of George C. Nimmons, Chicago, and after starting practice as partner in the new firm of Nimmons, Carr & Wright carried on work in that association until the time of his death, in charge of the structural work on many large buildings in Chicago and other cities. Among these were the Chicago Beach Hotel, Sears, Roebuck & Company Stores in Chicago, Philadelphia and other cities, All-State Insurance Building, Chicago, and the Portland Cement Company's Research Laboratories near Evanston.
In 1915 Mr. Clark began work as draftsman in the office of George C. Nimmons, Chicago.
