Career

Ordained ministry Protestant Episcopal Church, 1916. Successively assistant at St. Johns Cathedral, and rector St. Luke’s Church, both of Denver, St. Mary’s Church, St. Paul, Trinity Church, Houston, Texas. Dean of Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral, Kansas City, Missoury, since 1931.

President Kansas City Council of Churches (2 terms). Chairman Department Missions and president Standing Committee, Diocese of West Missouri Trustee Church Pension Fund. Member joint commission on Church Unity of Protestant Episcopal Church.

Deputy to General Convention 7 times, president House of Clerical and Lay Depts., 1949, 52. Chaplain major 3d Missouri Infantry.
