A very practical guide to assist adults and adults who work with children to introduce self-awareness into all areas of life, leading step by step to greater mastery. Mastery means a life that flows and creates richness of meaning, contribution to others, and beauty and joy. A life of mastery replaces conflict, disease and poverty with peace, good health and prosperity. The book develops three forms of exercises: ones in which we look within and see how we think, feel and do things. In the second set we observe how the world is and how we interact with it. The third activities set uses insights we have gained to develop communication, goal setting and group interaction abilities. As we learn to listen to and accept ourselves we gain sensitivity and integrity in dealing with others. Good listening skills lead to good communication. Effective communication and self-awareness allow healthy and nurturing group interactions which support individual and societal goals. People who can communicate and work cooperatively will have the flexibility and self-motivation to tackle any career or life issue that may come to them.
