Studied at King’s College School, London. Saint Bartholomew’s Hospital. Aberdeen University; Master in Surgery, Aberdeen.
Shortly after receiving his degrees in Medicine and Surgery was elected the first Assistant Physician-Accoucheur to Saint Bartholomew’s Hos pital, a newly created office, which lie held for upwards of sixteen years, resigning it on the death of his senior colleague, Doctor Matthews Duncan. Has been Examiner in Obstetrics in the Universities of Aberdeen and Durham. And President of the British Gynaecological Society.
Is a Vice-President of the League of Mercy, and has had the Order of Mercy conferred upon him.
