Background
After graduating from Duke University in 1995, Coe Juracek began a career in finance with the Trammell Crow Company, considered a pioneer in commercial real estate investment and development. He served as a member of their corporate services team before transitioning into real estate ownership and development. In 1996, he began working as a Wellsford Residential Property Trust analyst. Wellsford owned and operated multifamily communities in the Southwest and Pacific Northwest sectors before being acquired by Equity Residential.
In 1997, Juracek joined the HomeGate Hospitality team as an associate. HomeGate was an early leader in the extended-stay hotel industry. There, his job focused on hotel development site selection and feasibility analysis. One year later and upon the acquisition of HomeGate, he moved up to director of development for Prime Hospitality Group, a manager and operator of limited-service hotels across the United States. He then transitioned into multifamily development with Benton Partners in North Texas.
Since joining Crow Holdings Company in 1999, Coe Juracek has held a variety of critical roles. CHC is a prominent player in the industrial and multifamily real estate markets. Its investment management business specializes in specific real estate types beyond the traditional main-line products, including manufactured homes, student housing, storage spaces, and convenience and gas and food locations. With $16 billion in assets, CHC is a major force in commercial real estate and investment properties.
