Conrad J. Pressma was born on February 17, 1944, in the United States.
Conrad Pressma earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art from Antioch College, Yellow Springs, Ohio (1967), and a Master of Fine Arts in Photography from Indiana University, Bloomington (1970). He also undertook special graduate studies at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, in 1967-1968.
Since 1978 Conrad Pressma has owned C.J. Pressma Productions, specializing in audiovisual presentations, and from 1970 to 1978 he was founding director of the Center for Photographic Studies, Inc., in Louisville, Kentucky. Conrad Pressma has also taught at the Advanced Workshop of Center of the Eye in Aspen, Colorado (summer 1973), at Indiana University (1969-1970) and at MIT Art Association (1967-1968).
