2nd Secretary at the Hague, 1889-1891. At Brussels, 1891-1893. Secretary of Legation and Charg6 d’Affaires at Tehran, 1893-1896.
His (or Her) Majesty Agent at Pretoria with rank of Charg£ d’Affaires, 1896-1899. Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary to the Swiss Confederation, 1901-1905. Companion of the Bath 1897.
