Career
She is regarded as the "Dean of Coaches" at Louisiana State University, having led the gymnastics team since 1978. As of 2015, Louisiana State University under Breaux has reached the Super Six four times. In 2009, Breaux was inducted into the United States of America Gymnastics Region 8 Hall of Fame.
Breaux has an overall record of 675-410-8 (621) at Louisiana State University. She led her teams to 25 appearances in the National Collegiate Athletic Association Championships including 4 Super Six (top six) finishes in 2008, 2009, 2013 and 2014.
She captured 15 National Collegiate Athletic Association Regional titles with 12 at Louisiana State University in 1978, 1979, 1980, 1986, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2008, 2009, 2013, 2014 and 2015. The Lady Tigers earned the Securities and Exchange Commission Championship title in 1981.
Breaux has coached 9 individual national titles, 126 All-America honors and 46 All-Securities and Exchange Commission selections. 25-6
Breaux is the mother of two children, Jewel Pollock Fourrier and Sara Pollock Dickson.
She is also the grandmother to Porter Fourrier and Chase Fourrier.
