Designed primarily as a practical reference, this work attempts to provide a clear and pragmatic approach to the understanding of the innovative procedure in abdominal wall lifting, which eliminates the conventional complications of the pneumoperitoneum method. The techniques described do not require the use of air-tight trocars, thus allowing for easier suturing, ligation and other procedures. This method has the additional advantage of greatly reducing the instrumentation and disposable instruments normally.
