Dan Biferie was born in 1950 in Miami, Florida, United States.

Education

Biferie attended Ohio University in Athens, where he completed bachelor's and master's degrees in fine arts (1972, 1974).

Career

He has been employed as a photography instructor at Daytona Beach Community College in Florida since 1975 and has been the director of their Gallery of Fine Arts since 1978.

Biferie works in black-and-white and is interested in "abstractions of light and space and documentary photographs of country people."

Membership
