Huntington, Daniel Trumbull was born on August 4, 1868 in Norwich, Connecticut, United States. Son of Colonel Robert Watkinson and Jane (Trumbull) Huntington.

Education

Bachelor of Arts, Yale, 1892. Student General Theological Seminary, 1892-1893. Graduate Berkeley Division School, 1895, Doctor of Divinity, 1912.

Career

December 7, 1916; children—Jane Trumbull. Mary Champion. Jonathan Trumbull, Elizabeth Catherine. Deacon, 1895, ordained priest, 1890.

P.E. Church; misionary. Hankow, China, 1895-1900. Went to Ichang, 1901, in charge of school and evangelistic work.

Opened a trade school for destitute boys. 1907; elected bishop of Wuhu (now District of Anking), 1911. Consecrated in Shanghai.

1912; retired, 1940.
