Appointed on General Staff, European Theater of Operations, May 23, 1943, Mediteranean Theatre, 1944-1945. Chief Civil Affairs Division, Department of the Army, 1947-1948. Chief of Staff. A.S.F., 1946.

Chief of staff European Command, 1949-1952. Inspector general Department of Army from 1953-1954.
