Daniel G. Peterson, American biology professor. Achievements include invention of cot-based DNA sequencing (cot filtration, cot-based cloning and sequencing); research in construction of world's largest DNA library. Research grant, United States Department of Agriculture, 1999—2001, since 2006, National Science Foundation, 2004-2010, since 2010, Mississippi Corn Promotion Board, 2007-2010. Fellow: Life Sciences & Biotechnology Institute.
