As a child, Danijel attended the Božidar Vuković Podgoričanin Primary School in the Podgorica neighbourhood of Vrela Ribnička, later moving to the Vasa Pavić Primary School, majoring in the accordion. He later finished his secondary education at the Vasa Pavić Secondary School, majoring in the piano.
Danijel Alibabić is the second child of Bosniak father Rasim Alibabić, a musician, and a Montenegrin mother, Olivera, a tourist operator. He has an older brother, Darko, and a younger sister, Sabina. Alibabić participated in Veliki Brat Very Important Person 1 - the first season of the Celebrity Big Brother in Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia.
There, he made it to the final day, ending up in third place.
