Lecturer at Information Technology Management, School of Law and also managed own law" firm in Kuala Lumpur 1973. Deputy Minister of Law 1976, of Home Affairs 1978. Elected to State Assembly, Negeri Sembilan 1978.

Menteri Besar, Negeri Sembilan 1978.

Minister of Land and Regional Development 1982, of Information 1984-1986, of Foreign Affairs 87. Advocate and Solicitor, High Court of Malaysia since 1988.

Returned to Law practice, Kuala Lumpur since 1988. Deputy President Semangat.
