He is the current holder of the New Zealand men"s under 19 record for the 100 metres, (previously held by Matt Brown"s record of 1043s set in Brisbane of March 2006) and ranks as the third fastest New Zealander over 100 m behind Chris Donaldson and Augustine Nketia. He attended Christchurch Boys" High School and Florida State University (2010 - 2013).
