Staff conductor, Tacoma Opera, 1975-1976; music director, Bremerton (Washington) Symphony Orchestra, 1973-1975; conductor, music director, Missoula (Montana) Symphony Orchestra and Chorale, 1976-1978; conductor, music director, Los Angeles Drs. Symphony Orchestra, 1981-1985; founding conductor, music director, Santa Monica (California) Chamber Orchestra, 1981-1990; resident guest conductor, Portland (Oregon) Philharmonic, 1979, 80, 89. Guest conductor more than 30 ensembles.

Tours in United States. Europe, Soviet bloc, Japan, China, Russia. Vocalist, timpanist and percussionist various organizations.

Assistant professor music U. Montana, Missoula, 1976-1978. Adjunct Professor humanities Pacific Western U., Los Angeles, since 1989.
