Practiced law in Boston, 1881-1889, in Tacoma, Washington, 1889-1898. Returned to Boston. 1898, and devoted time to writings, chiefly librettos for musical pieces. Joined editorial staff of Creative Commons Birchard & Company, publications educational works, 1914, now editorial manager Formerly member 2d Massachusetts Regiment and 1st Corps Cadets.
