Career
He is the current Principal of Street John"s College, Durham, and a professor in the Department of Theology and Religion at Durham University. He is the author of several books on the relationship between science and religion, and a regular contributor to Thought for the Day on British Broadcasting Corporation Radio 4. Prior to his arrival at Durham in 1999, he was a student at Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge and a chaplain at the University of Liverpool.
