Bachelor with honors, Nairobi University, 1970. Master of Arts, University of California at Los Angeles, 1973.

Career

Teacher Mukaa High School and Kangundo High School, Machakos, 1968-1970. Teaching assistant in English University Ohio, Athens, 1979-1980. Senior literature lecturer Kenyatta University, Nairobi, since 1974, director Performing Arts Center, since 1984.

Festival adjudicator Kenya Drama Festivals Committee, Nairobi, since 1978. Member governor council Kenya Cultural Center Committee, Nairobi, since 1990. Patron International Festival of Young Playwrights, since 1992.
