2010 Zwonitzer was unopposed for both the August 17, 2010 Republican Primary, winning with 1,179 votes, and the November 2, 2010 General election, winning with 2,321 votes. 2014 If he seeks a fifth term in House District 9 in northeast Cheyenne, Zwonitzer will face a challenge from the Democrat Mike Weiland (born 1956), a meteorologist who retires in January 2014 with the National Weather Service. Weiland is a native of the Denver, Colorado, area.
