Dean Kramer

Education

Kramer studied music at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music and the University of Texas, and also took masterclasses in France with Gina Bachauer and Arthur Rubinstein.

Career

In 1972, Kramer was awarded the first place at the Washington Piano Competition. Kramer frequently records for radio and television

Achievements

• Three years later, in 1975, he won the first national Chopin competition in Miami, and then won fifth place in the ninth International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw.
